The Control Panel is the key to managing your websites. Accessible from any Internet connected computer, it is here that you are able to add and delete sites as well as modify existing site properties.

This includes the ability to:
  • Define the domain name that your website will answer to.
  • Set keywords that are picked up by search engines and help your website get noticed.
  • Change the colours of your website. The image to the right shows the advance colour management screen.
  • View statistics about your websites such as numbers of visitors and page hits.
  • Upload images, set descriptions and define prices if you have a shopping basket.
  • Define additional pages and menus and so provide more information to your visitors.
  • Define other individuals that have access to manage certain aspects of your website content through a separate interface, as discussed below.

Of course, you may prefer simply to use the default settings and select the pre-defined layout templates and professional graphical designs.

  • Management Console splits website design from content management, thus providing you with the opportunity to delegate certain functions to others.

The image to the left shows a typical Photo Edit screen accessed from within the Management Console. Although the content management functionality is the same whether accessed from the Control Panel or Management Console, the latter provides access to only the repeated content found on your website, such as picture galleries and photographs.

Also accessed from any Internet connected computer, the Management Console has the look and feel of a standard application and is unbranded. Common uses of this facility include clubs or businesses who have office based staff, as well as individuals creating and reselling websites to others.
